Took Shadow for a walk and found this sweet little Robin’s egg blown out its nest. RIP future Baby Robin.
Warm inside, frozen outside.
It’s a trick! It looks bright and sunny outside, but the wind is blowing like crazy. Windchill is 21 degrees. Good day to snuggle up at home.
The flowers I got for my birthday several weeks ago are still looking beautiful in my kitchen window. Bright colors make my heart glad.
I think we’ve come full circle now - while you’re at work at a “real” job you can listen to the sounds of a coffee shop and pretend like you’re free-lancing at the local Starbucks.
I love trees. Growing up in the Ozarks I learned to love the shape and glory of trees.
I photographed this magnificent beauty in Carthage, Missouri in the fall of 2011.
That fall was glorious - some of the best colors I had seen in years.
Every color was rich and blazing.
I miss the trees of the Ozarks.
I have two Labrador Retrievers. This is Gracie Belle. I rescued her from the Bethany Animal Shelter about a year-and-a-half ago. She’s very sweet, loves me fiercely, but still has some street in her. She’s a wily little critter. And fast!
Took a spontaneous road trip to Guthrie, Oklahoma a few weeks ago.
Here’s an iPhone pic I snapped of the original State Capital. [iPhoneography]
I love retro signage. I found this great hotel sign in Broken Bow, Oklahoma last weekend. [iPhoneography]
I love textures. All kinds of textures.
Exotic fabrics from other countries are a weakness of mine. I bought these two Nepali blankets because they are beautiful, but the best part is they are so soft. I love them.
